It was a beautiful day for a launch party in Cocoa Beach Florida. The breeze was blowing in soft and tropical over the canal and the clothes and jewelry and food were displayed beautifully.
Kate & I were so excited to welcome our first customers and friends. We decided the perfect libation for the day would be to include all the ingredients from our name and make a specialty cocktail. Thus Ginger Grapefruit & Rosemary Sangria was conceived, tested and approved.
This sangria cocktail was so pretty and it was also tasty and light. The perfect thing on a warm summer day.
Ginger Grapefruit & Rosemary Sangria:
- 1 bottle of dry white wine of your choice
- 3-4 cups of club soda
- 1 TSP simple syrup
- 1 large grapefruit cut into pretty slices
- 1-2 sprigs of rosemary left whole
- 1 knub of fresh ginger grated-about 1 tsp
Mix all ingredients in a clear glass pitcher. Add 3 cups of club soda for stronger sangria and 4 cups for lighter. Do not add ice. It is ok to make the Sangria ahead of time and let it sit so the flavors can meld.
When ready to serve add ice to the individual glasses you will be serving in and pour the Sangria over the ice.
Enjoy.
