Oak-based aromas of vanilla and dill are offset by rougher scents of mustard, horseradish and charred blackberry. This Bobal, named after the Latin word for “silky,” is anything but; full tannins are clamping and dry. Toasty oak, minty blackberry and burnt flavors carry over to a full finish with heat.
