Little Giant Cabernet Sauvignon Lamonica Napa Valley 2018

This is the fifth vintage of Lamonica Cabernet Sauvignon bottled. It is a dark, balanced and powerful Cabernet that has rich, ripe and decadent aromas of black and blue fruits including cassis, blackberry jam, zesty crushed pomegranate, blueberry cobbler, allspice, chapparal and sandstone. On the palate, the depth of fruit comes through with dramatic and intense fresh blackberries, mission figs, savory spices and roasted wheat and vanilla. The medium grain tannins and a long, lingering finish complete the package. It will pair excellently with aged New York Steak, New Zealand spring lamb, aged Pecorino cheese and fine, dark chocolate. This wine will age well for over a decade. Optimum cellaring until 2030. Until then, decant and enjoy with all occasions both grand and humble.
